Co-founder/Chief Executive Officer, Board Member
Tyler oversees Broadway's strategic direction and leads the executive team. Prior to Broadway, Tyler was a pioneer in high-frequency automated trading of fixed-income securities. At the height of the dotcom era, Tyler was CTO at carOrder.com, a startup with $125m in funding to sell cars online. Tyler started his career as a software engineer at Trilogy, an enterprise software company whose customers included Sun Microsystems, Ford Motors, and other Fortune 100 companies. Tyler is a recognized industry leader and has been honored as one of Institutional Investor’s top 40 global leaders in trading technology and as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for his achievements. Tyler holds multiple patents in distributed computing and trading technology. He earned his SB and MEng in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT.
Co-founder/Chief Technology Officer, Board Member
Joshua sets Broadway’s technical direction, and is responsible for all software development, services, and delivery. Prior to Broadway, Joshua created one of the first high-frequency automated trading platforms for fixed-income securities. Early in his career, he was co-founder and Chief Architect of carOrder.com, a startup with $125m in funding, where he led design and development of their critically acclaimed automotive sales website. Joshua was named one of Institutional Investor’s top 40 global leaders in trading technology seven years in a row and as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. He holds multiple patents in the areas of distributed computing, algorithms, and trading technology. Joshua earned a BA and MEng in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning and applied mathematics from Cornell University.
Chief Business Development Officer, Board Member
Jonathan leads Broadway's global sales and business development initiatives. Prior to joining Broadway in 2004, he held leadership positions at a number of startups, including a $15m venture-backed online B2B wholesale marketplace and his own company, a hosted market intelligence provider whose customers included 90% of the world’s largest wine and spirits suppliers. Jonathan holds a BS in Economics from MIT.
Chief Operating Officer
Scott leads Broadway’s global business operations. Prior to joining Broadway in 2019, Scott was a founding member, President and COO, and board member of Portware, LLC, the financial industry's leading developer of buy side, broker-neutral, automated trading software for global equities, futures, options, and FX. He spearheaded the sale of Portware to Factset Research Systems, Inc. Additionally, he served as CEO and Chief Compliance Officer of Portware's FINRA-regulated broker-dealer, P.A.N. Securities, LP. Prior to Portware, Scott was the co-founder and senior vice president of ExchangeLab, Inc., an intellectual property development company for financial service technologies which incubated and commercialized a number of successful FinTech startups including PDQ Enterprises, LLC, Intrade, plc and Quadriserv, Inc. Previously, Scott specialized in equity derivatives at Goldman Sachs and traded energy commodities at ICAP, plc. He is an active philanthropist, serving as chairman of the board of directors at LSA Family Health Services, as a director at Domus Kids, Inc and as a CT champion for the Me to We Organization. Scott currently serves on a number of FinTech company boards and is an active early stage investor.
Chief Financial Officer
Scott leads Broadway’s financial operations, including financial planning & analysis, treasury & cash optimization, M&A, tax, accounting, audit, and financial systems & tools. Prior to joining Broadway in 2019, Scott was the Chief Financial Officer of Boomi Inc., a hyper-growth Middleware SaaS Company where he focused on value creation, predictability, cash flow optimization and scaling the business. He also spent 19 years in various executive positions with Dell Technologies Finance, with an emphasis on business partnering, and leading global teams in Asia, Europe and Latin America. Scott’s career at Dell included leading financial and system integration of the largest tech merger in history between Dell Technologies and EMC Corporation. Upon graduation from college, Scott joined the Procter & Gamble (P&G) Finance Development Program. He left P&G as the Associate Director of P&G North America Pharmaceuticals, where he was the Finance lead on one of the largest co-marketing agreements in Pharmaceutical history for Actonel, a blockbuster Osteoporosis drug. Scott graduated in 1991 with a Finance degree from the University of Texas, McCombs School of Business, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and a Silver Spur.
Claudia is responsible for Broadway's worldwide legal operations, including intellectual property, technology, commercial, compliance and employment legal matters. Prior to joining Broadway in 2013, Claudia was a Partner and Co-Chair of the US Intellectual Property Group at Salans LLP. Previously, Claudia practiced law at several firms including Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Fried, Frank, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. In 2014, Claudia was elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Claudia holds a BS in Speech from Northwestern University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
