Lead On-site Consultant

Job Description

Broadway Technology, LLC, a dynamic, growing financial services software firm located in downtown Manhattan, is looking for a senior consultant to lead one of its major client deployments. This role will include the following responsibilities:

Management and ownership of client relationship.
Ownership and successful implementation of client deliverables.
Business analysis and day-to-day interaction with users (developers, traders, IT/trading managers, and senior management) at site.
Management and ownership of successful release process of Broadway and customer software into production environment.

The candidate should possess 5-7 years experience of the following business and technical skills:

Management of client relationships and complex implementations, preferably in securities trading environments.
Comprehensive understanding on entire software life cycle (including releasing production software) and successful delivery of products.
Exceptional C++ skill set, strong relational databases and client-server architecture experience.
At least one scripting language (C#, Perl, Python, Java, etc.)
Substantial knowledge of mission critical high performance production environments, preferably in a large scale securities trading operation.
Substantial knowledge of a trading operation, particularly for interest rate products.

In addition, the candidate must possess:

Willingness to travel (25% of time and occasionally up to one month duration during deployments).
Strong attention to detail.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivation, discipline and ability to work independently.
Proven problem solving abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-related field, Master’s degree preferred.
